1:250 000 Scale Colour Raster

The 1:250 000 scale raster mapping product from OS is intended for overview mapping, in particular for regional applications. It combines roads, railways, urban areas and other map features and also includes a gazetteer of locations.

1:50 000 Scale Colour Raster

A highly popular small scale mapping backdrop, OS 1:50 000 provides images based on the OS Landranger series of maps.  Ideal for context mapping where street names and the most detailed geographical features are not required.

1:50 000 Scale Gazetteer

This gazetteer provides a useful complement to the more detailed OS background mapping raster datasets allowing location searching for particular named places from a gazetteer of over 42,000 towns, settlements and other locations, at 1km resolution.

1:25 000 Scale Colour Raster

 OS 1:25 000 scale mapping provides a scanned image of OS Explorer Map that can be used in a geographical information system (GIS) with other data to visualise your own information within a geographical context.

Available as national coverage, or for user-specified areas in the form of 10km x 10km tiles (TIFF format).  TAB files are also supplied for use within MapInfo Professional^®.

MiniScale^®

The least detailed of the raster background mapping datasets at 1:1 million nominal scale. Can be used for regional or national mapping ideal for magazines, brochures and web images. Available in TIFF or Photoshop format.

OS Street View^®

Street View provides a scanned image of street level mapping at 1:10,000 scale including building outlines, road names and all the detail required to understand local context when working with other data at a very local geographical level.

Available as national coverage, or for user-specified areas in the form of 5km x 5km tiles (TIFF format).  TAB files can also be supplied for use within MapInfo Professional^®.
